This actually didn’t happen. I’m confusing this with another thing I watched. Maybe a TMBG interview? Still the two basic questions remain.
I was watching The Grand Tour episode 8 last night and on it Stewart Copeland In something I watched someone tells a story about two guys wearing Pearl Jam shirts and how he realized one of them was wearing it ironically. Can someone explain to me:
1 How you wear a Pearl Jam shirt ironically
2 How you figure out a person is wearing a Pearl Jam shirt ironically

If the two guys are named Dave Krusen and Jack Irons, it might work.
Real long shot, though.
EDIT: Maybe one of them is named Jeremy...Clarkson.

Hmm....I don’t recall that part of the interview. When was it, when they were talking about Mitch Mitchell?
Great episode, by the way. I am liking this season much better than last.

I can’t really recall what they were talking about I think it was about them being old or drummers being awesome.

I don’t know if it would work with Pearl Jam, but back in the irony-soaked days of the early aughts I definitely wore some band shirts ironically and some unironically, and at least at the time I thought you could tell the difference. Although old people probably couldn’t, and now I’m old enough that I probably couldn’t either.

Are there multiple versions of GT available? Because that conversation isn’t in the one I saw (or at least I have absolutely no recollection of it).

I guess I must have hallucinated it. I was pretty tired.

I love me some Pink Floyd, and Nick Mason is a first-rate petrolhead, but Stewart Copeland would smoke the everliving shit out of Nick on the skins. Chops for days.
Also I don’t know what this is aboot because no Amazons.
Also also about the Pearl Jam shirt, maybe a Stone Temple Pilots fan could... nah. Or, like, somebody who didn’t like when Dave Abbruzzese left and they went to Jack Irons could wear a shirt with an image of Ten to be ironic at a Jack Irons drum clinic... geddit? I dunno.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who immediately thought of the drummers.

It turns out that I don’t know what it is aboot.
