Getting ready for our ski trip on Monday, needed to do some repairs on a suitcase. The rivets holding two of the wheels on had come out.

Kinja'd!!!

U sed pliers to get them the rest of the way out, then replaced with 1" bolt with a washer and nut on the inside. Would have used a lock washer if I had one, but I think this will hold.

Kinja'd!!!

Not a car repair, but still feel good I was able to get it back in working order.

Where are you going skiing?

This year we are headed to Ski Cooper in Colorado. Our main criteria was a place that was good for new skiers, relatively inexpensive, and close to an airport we can do direct from Houston.  This will only be the second time for our kids (8, 8, 10, and 12), and we did Ski Santa Fe this time last year. I’m not a good skier either, my wife is the real skier of the group. Cooper is about half the price of the big resorts in Colorado (Breck, etc.), which is important for a family of 6.
