Wow, Montgomery Ward? They had a few of those still around into the early 90s in some parts of the US. Basically a scaled-down version of Sears, selling everything in one place . Maybe they were the canary in the coal mine...

Oh interesting. We had a lot of crazy old bikes in Hawaii when I was younger. We used to ride them around the yard. Pretty sure we had at least a couple of those.
