Just got a “Liability Status” email from my car insurance provider.

“Your current liability status is Not At Fault.”

Woo Hoo!

This means whatever is decided/awarded, it won’t be reduced by my $500 deductible.

It also means it’s the other guy who is gonna be paying more for insurance for the next few years because in Ontario, “If you are less than 25% at fault, the insurance company cannot increase your premium because of that accident.”

(course im a cyclist... nothing is ever my fault according to insurance... really... id probably be rich by now if i was a little more willing to sustain horrible injuries and get run over every month)

bahahahahahaaaa oh thats good

wouldnt work here tho..... the cops and medics would pick up on something like that pretty quick...

but the law is pretty much cyclists are unpredictable and you as a driver should have been prepared for that.... its a little odd.... but it works here

(sometime after march would be best as i prefer being hospitalized during crunch time at work... its kind of a waste to be all laid up for the quiet times)
