This sweet panel, it’s been parked there for a few years, fs decal on the window.. he knows what he has.
Also drove around my SisterinLaws 2007 Tacoma. First I have to put a key in it? Next foot parking brake. Skinny little steering wheel. 2nd Gen feels way more cramped inside than our 3rd Gen. Plus holy engine noises from the 4.0..
For all the whining on Tw I’ll keep the 10 years of evolution, plus bum warmers.

I’d get another 2nd gen as a beater/third vehicle, but I wouldn’t want one as a DD anymore. The 4Runner vs 2nd Gen opened up my eyes to the compromises of living with one daily.
I wonder how long the 4.0 “sucked” compared to the 3.4 in the first gen?
I say this driving around a new 9 year old design, much like when I bought the Tacoma 3 years ago and its 10 yr old design.
