My coworker offered me an amazing deal on a 996 non-S . Gorgeous car that’s been enthusiast-owned since the day it rolled off the lot. I’ve seen it in action and it’s the real deal.

But I already own a Miata and a temperamental Swedish block.

So I guess I’ll have to decline.

On the one hand: “one of us, one of us.”

On  the other: there are lots of 996s out there that are decently cared for at reasonable prices, if you ever feel compelled you will be able to find the right one.
