Drove from Little Rock, AR to Crossville, TN today. The front that brought all the heavy weather to TX yesterday and canceled the bowl game had passed though LR in the night, but didn’t go as far as I had hoped. So, as we headed east, we never drove out of the rain. We had heavy rainfall, nonstop, for nearly 500 miles. I’ve never experienced an entire day of heavy rain. We still made good time, but had to contend with near whiteout conditions from truck spray and assholes who decided to drive slowly in the left lane without their headlights on.

The blue dot is us. It was like this exactly all day.

On to Richmond tomorrow, and probably another day of rain. Oh well, so it goes.

ugh - stressful... Short wet trips can be fun, but long highway runs just get exhausting...

I only had to be out and about for a bit today and I didn’t like any of it. Safe travels!
