This oven doesn’t get as hot as it’s supposed to. The stove is probably 20+ years old. Any expertise out there? Replace
thermothingy? Ideas?

I would try replacing the thermocouple. They're pretty cheap. That beast is worth fixing!

It’ll likely be an issue with gas delivery inside the oven - either the jets, regulator or the supply tubing. www.allvikingparts.com

I am wondering about the flexible supply line to the stove; the line is fitted down one size, like from 3/4 to 1/2, or 1/2 to 3/8. But the oven behaves the same whether there are any burners turned on or not.

I have no religious inclinations at this point, but I love the Christmas season and the snow, and the movies, and the pleasure that comes from saying Merry Christmas to everyone who wants to hear it. And we get to tip the building staff, even the mail carrier. Anything we can do to make their Christmas merrier.
