It has not been driven much lately because it had been cold and/or wet. It was pretty clean, but a little dusty, so I did a quick waterless detail. Then I covered it and put it away. We go to Yosemite tomorrow, but I will drive it when we get home.

old stuff is interesting. yesterday I sold three new old stock (NOS) body panels for a 1971-1973 Mercury Cougar convertible for $300. These parts were bought for $300+ in 1977. the guy who bought them supplies restoration parts for Cougars and they’re going to someone restoring a ‘71 Cougar hardtop with a 429. Which means the quarter panels are going to have to be cut up. Cougar convertibles were rare so I’d rather have seen the parts go there.
Oh well.

Similar boat, Jag was quite dirty and a little salty from the time my wife had to take it because the GTI was dead. But I did get a chance to wash it before we left for 2 weeks and my wife has approved Nardi purchase for my birthday tomorrow (28th, I’m 41).

There's a sunchaser for sale locally on Craigslist and seeing yours has me tempted. I don't know if I want to spend 5k on another 80s Toyota, when my current 80s Toyota needs a fair bit of work.
