I’m going to tick over 80,000 kilometres next week, and I’m really thankful I got a warranty up to 160,000.

100k powertrain is still way over the top om something that costs like 15k out the door. They're high on the list for when I realize I'm an adult and need a vehicle that's reliable and won't kill me in a wreck.

Welp, better sell it.
I’ll give you $20 for it.
(Totally kidding of course. :P )

I would be in the same boat with my Mazda3, but apparently it was a CPO worthy vehicle. They were behind on the paperwork and surprisingly they took the initiative to get me the extended warranty at no additional cost. I have just over 10k miles to go on my power train now. I’m sure I’ll blow thru that before fall next year though.
