One of the main reasons I wanted to move from an apartment to my own house is because I can have my own garage.

This moment my wife took my car to work because as she said “ taking my car out of the garage seems like a lot of work”. Even tho she insist that she doesn’t like driving stick.

So jealous of you having a garage.

I'd love one.

Looks like a good size garage too! Enjoy.

Mine is barely a two car garage. Fits my Camaro with inches to spare. Thankfully my wife’s car is small and allows some room for shelving. My dream is to add a workshop on the back.

Pffft, garages are for suckers.

/jealous

On a related note, the heater in my 128 is the most effective I’ve ever used. I almost wish I could drive this car year round for that reason alone.

May I have that spare door?

I only have a 1-car, and am really looking forward to starting my new job, because it means I will no longer have a company car and can park my own personal  car indoors. Open, uncluttered driveway for easy shoveling, and no more scraping windshields ever.

It’s great! And mine has  the cold weather package. Heated seats ftw!

Mine too, though I think all Canadian cars got that. I’ll struggling enough for traction in the WRX soon enough so I’ll be parking the 128 shortly. :(

I’m stuck  in a part of Ohio with average annual snow fall below the national average, so I have nothing to worry about there.

I don’t want it, but I think it’s spoken for. And I bet shipping  from Ohio would be prohibitively expensive…

It is a generous two-car garage. I have a work bench, a little storage space, and a fridge for my beer. Things get a little tight with two cars, but it's  still manageable.

If there’s one thing the Midwest has going for it, it’s plenty of space at low cost.

Mine sits outside at work for 9 hours every day, so there’s still plenty of time for ice  and snow to accumulate. But it all melts off overnight, which is nice.

At this point in my life, it's the number one reason to have a house over an apartment.
