Garage Gutting: Day 3

I told my wife I was gonna take a day off from the project. But what can I say? I’m a damned, dirty liar.

Here were some in-progress photos:

And here’s how it looked when I locked up:

Vacuumed all perimeters and ledges, found more garbage and lead paint, consolidated some items, heavily sanitized the tables, and so on.

Tomorrow will be a tough day to tie up loose ends on this, before I have to start getting the house ready for our guests on Christmas.

Very happy with how this is turning out though

Yes actually , but probably only a short box 80s Toyota or maybe a small — like, pre-airbag small — coupe, otherwise the length will block the side door.

oh my god i want that garage. that little ally is PERFECT for stacking motorcycle projects. I mean usable bikes. and a small lift.

It's getting there! I bet it's been a ton of work, but satisfying in the end. When we first moved in, we stuffed a ton of stuff into our garage, and it was quite satisfying to get it mostly sorted out - to the point where we could finally fit a car in it.

We bought them for our last house for the remodel we never ended up doing. These don’t fit through the necessary doorways at our current house. Probably  just going to sell them...
