I have been summoned.
Visually the C-HR is great, but the drive train specs are lacking. It handles good, if only it did everything else good.
Now to the Kicks, drive the crap off a cliff into the 13th pit of hell. I rather drive red hot iron rods in my eyes then see a Kicks.

My wife really likes the C-HR. Like really really likes it . I kinda like the new Corolla. We will probably compromise and get another FZJ80 Land Cruiser. One popped up for sale cheap, waiting for a call back...
The Kicks is just miserable.

Yes, friends of ours dumped their old crv for the blue and white top C-HR. It is a nice little rig.
My wife is a big fan of open cabins and seeing out of
windows,
so most current hatchbacks are out.. She does
approve
of the LJ78 Prado with all it’s boxy windows so I’m keeping my hopes up
..

as long as you don’t get one with the multi-colored roof.... then it’s like a tall, short Corolla with extra styling - which isn’t a terrible thing

It’s not even trying to stand out with wild desgin ideas (then trying too hard like the Kicks that is failing with that). You can also get it with manual too so I guess that's cool. Don't hate it, don't love it.

Indeed, Java Green aka garden hose green. It got a respray in the 80s I think but it is the original color.
