Well, you can copy/paste multimedia content into and out of Kinja with only some mangling, so you could just copy the whole page and paste into a new post. Probably.

I tried that. I get the text, but lose all the pics.

It would take less time than completely rewriting everything, but it’s still going to be very time consuming.

Weird. I’ve been able to copy-paste whole posts out into Word including images, so I thought it would paste complete back again. Worst case, though, it does accept raw image data pasting, so you could paste the text first and copy the images out of the Word donor file to paste in singly.

That’s the only way I’ll be able to work it. Guess I’ll have to spend some time soon and get everything transferred over.
