Meanwhile, I have 91 tabs open in Chrome. It was over 140 a few days ago.

Oof. Save them as bookmarks or whatever while you still can.
I made the mistake of having about that many tabs open for several weeks , and Chrome was doing a good job of recovering my tabs every time the computer needed to resart for updates... until it didn’t. My computer restarted, I opened Chrome, clicked “restore tabs”, and- nothing. They were all gone, and CTRL+SHIFT+T wasn’t bringing them back either.

They are all recoverable even without CTRL SHIFT T. Funny thing is my computer restarted overnight and I was able to get them back! I was kind of pissed that my computer restarted though. Going to stick with putting it into sleep mode when I’m not around now.

OneTab. It’s a wonderful extension and will save your computer.

I asked it to do a complex multi-stage filter on a 6000*4500px image.

Not a problem though, I’ve got lots of RAM, I want programs to use it.

Are you sure you didn’t rename your SQL server executable?

Luckily I’ve got 16g RAM installed but my processor is NOT happy. I think I need to crack it open and redo the thermal paste.
I should really check if GIMP can use GPU acceleration...

1 shitpost for every 100 kWh of uptime.
