As much as I don’t want it to be true, I’m ready for it to be yet another unibody SUV on the same Discovery platform as every current LR model with another,   taller, even uglier iteration of this face. I don’t think the Defender has the cac het of the G-wagon to make it worthwhile for LR to do anything more than that.

Its connection to its past will be the name, poorer aero, and a tailgate-mounted tyre.
