Anyone else envisioning a new Hummer H3T if the Jeep Gladiator is successful? I saw a new Tahoe and Suburban today. Now I am seeing a H3T based off the Suburban and H3 off of the H3.

I would have drawn something, but my skills are lacking.

Hummer is dead and should stay dead. Besides, the H3T used the same platform as the Colorado, right?

It is all about money and the Hummer brand is dead, that is why I titled it GMC Hummer, making the Hummer the model not the brand.

It’s worth remembering that the Gladiator is technically a mid size...same as Ranger and Colorado. And there is already a GM BoF wagon based on the Colorado (we know it in Oz as the Holden Trailblazer) so creating a GMC version isn’t a long leap...

As for the Hummer...no. Let dead ducks  lie.

I am guessing you mean the original not the truck cap.

Oh I definitely mean the cap of the H3T. Because I'm an American.

Local dealer has two H1's - legit AM General built H1's at that - on their lot. Since they tow like few other vehicles, I decided to take a look, just for giggles. I mean, I’m not stupid here. You can see how shoddy the construction is from twenty feet away, once you take your eyes off the factory non-rustproofing job.

And you know what my first through fifth thoughts were?

“Other than the width, this thing looks goddamn TINY parked next to the Yukon 2500 XL .”

The sixth thought was “wait, this is a Yukon SWB. Not the XL .”

Seriously, things have gotten completely fucking out of hand.

I think the Hummer got boxed frame rails and a straight axel on the front.

Oh, and since you CAN’T FUCKING EDIT on Kinja anymore, I feel obligated to also mention that prices are completely fucking insane.

H1 squareback with 40k miles, 6.5 turbo diesel , visible rust on every single panel, cloth interior, severe frame rot, glove box literally ripped out (torn plastic and everything,) missing CTIS gauge, known air system problem, $85,000 firm .

1) Bring Hummer back.

2) Make it good

3) Profit.

I don't know about the frame, but the Hummers all had IFS.

I see a fair amount of new Colorados. I am thinking the new H3 needs to be bigger than the old one, but not H2 big.
