Especially when cars are involved!
It’s a tale as old as time. New York state Senator uses car with Official Business plackards to block bike lane. Spokesperson from opposing party discovers this and shares it with her social media followers. Said Senator has a reply:
And a clarification!
Who among us has never used a poor choice of words when wishing death on someone for calling out our bad parking?

Kill
is just old Dutch for “creek” which is why it appears in so many New York place
names. So really he was urging her to go jump in the river, which is technically a polite idiom
in the NYC area.

To be fair, if someone parked on my privates I would be too mad to issue a death threat.

Ah parking in bike lanes, a NYC tradition. Let’s check in on my favorite NYPD precinct:
Well, they’re still not parallel parking ( except for that one Honda), but jumping the curb and parking mostly on the wide side walk is better than being on the bike lane, which is how they used to do it. Unfortunately it doesn’t help when the proceed to park half on the bike lane and half on the road as well.

Hey, if it’s not something that results in a prison sentence, it’s NBD.

Pfft, everyone knows that a politician who actually stands and votes for their party’s beliefs is exceedingly rare.
