Not sure why it only occurred to me now, but E 39 Alpinas are actually importable to Canada for some time.

Right colour but wrong transmission (debatable, Alpinas are about cruising not corner carving, so auto is actually acceptable)

Wrong side drive Has a manual, and I really like that purple. But this has the I6 not the V8. (EDIT: I’m blind, pictures show a LHD car but listing says RH)

I saw this e39 online a few weeks ago, it’s splendid.  I also think manual Alpinas are somewhat rare.

Well manual Alpinas are non-existent now, not a single car in their lineup has a manual right now.

I think you’re 100% correct there.  Though I did see a pre facelift e46 B3 3.3 the other day. I’ll see if I can link it or at least screenshot it.

I guess its the only way  to get a reasonably priced B10. The ones that are already here go for way too much on BaT.
