Dogs are always happy to be up and about, they simply add a nap here and there. We could learn a lot from them.

I concur. No matter what time I wake up, my dogs will think it’s time to eat. Even if it’s 1 am, it’s time for them to eat. Most of the times I’ll just give in because I don’t want to be annoyed by them for hours.

Although nothing beats my old Lab I used to have. He would wake you up in the middle of the night because he wanted to go out. Then he would proceed to sniff the air for 20 minutes, not relieve himself, then go back to bed.
