Made some solid gains over the stock trim on race gas. We added an upper and lower pulley, offroad connecting pipes, fuel system and E85 to give it a good bump.
Stock w/ MS109 on the H.O. Button: 708
whp, 700
ft/lbs
Modded on E85 on the H.O. Button: 855 whp, 905 ft/lbs
For reference, stock Hellcats tend to do around 600whp stock on the same dyno.

you;d have to be a made man to buy a Demon and then say “I’d like it more with another 150hp”

“this car has a massive supercharged V8 that would make any 15 year old super car wet their pants. C ould you ad the equivalent of a Honda Civic to it? I would like whole Honda Civic’s worth of HP added.”

Haha yeah, we had just finished up a 1500whp C6 Corvette, pretty much tripled the output lol.

Please e xplain to me what changing the pulleys do. Not sure I understand the concept, here.
Thanks in advance !

Smaller pulley = more air compressed due to spinning the SC faster.
More air = more power.

changing the pulleys,............ the lower one to a smaller one spins all the accessories slower at higher rpm using less power............ changing the upper one(on the supercharger) to a larger pulley spins the SC faster supplying more air/fuel to the engine.

Now put that engine in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Wait. No. A Commander . I dare you.

ah ... but the accessories (like the alternator) spining slower means also not working as they should (and not charging the battery) ?
And a larger pulley on the supercharger would make it spin slower, not faster ?

yes, i made a slip there. it would be a smaller pulley on the supercharger....... and crank pulleys are reduced by small percentages. accessories like alternators have “threshold speeds” i believe that they are called. basically above a minimum rpm say 500, and the Alt. is working, putting out its 13v.

So the goal is to run a blower ratio that doesn't over spin it. We run a 10% overdrive on the crank and a smaller pulley (usually 2.85" on pump gas) to get the blower spinning more which means more boost but at the expense of working the blower more and generating more heat.
