Shopping for 335is I found this.

when your “black” plastic “defuser” is lighter than your car, thats not a good look. Good news is non M-Sport 335is don’t have this problem, so you could just swap over the non M bumper

that’s better.

I do generally like that “defuser” rear styling, but you are right - looks kinda goofy when it’s lighter like that. There is a guy in our neighborhood with a really nice looking gunmetal grey 335 , and I’m pretty sure it’s got the darker accent piece.

I’m sure that started out black, but it sun faded to grey. the black paint on the car makes it stand out even more.
