I love the panoramic sunroofs. Why would they go backwards and 3?

I really dislike panoramic sunroofs. I understand the appeal as a concept, but in practice I conclude they can only be the product of people who don’t live in a place where the sun is a fatally oppressive force for six- plus months of the year. Despite the tinting, they are deeply unpleasant if the shade isn’t kept closed here from late April to late October.

It’s only useful for short times even here in CA. Morning/evening when the sun isn’t directly overhead.
