I saw an Oxford Green E39 M5 over the weekend.  In a place I would not have expected; middle of nowhere, PA, on someone’s property surrounded by beat-up pickup trucks.

I love a nice E39 M5... I miss mine dearly, it was only $7k and it had all sorts of Dinan goodies in it.

It got replaced by a slightly more practical 540it, which has served as my daily driver for the past two years. Soon it’ll get a manual swap and eventually (once I can afford it), an S62 engine to turn it into a true M5 touring.

While I do agree I love the E39, I have never been a fan of those wheels. I am more of a clean cut wheel guy and my favorite BMW wheel are the M parallel style 37. Though I dont mind my style 66's on my 540i
