I’ve owned a Cherokee since 2002 and I’ve done tons of work on it and I’ve done tons of research... I’ve never read all this tie-in with Renault. I had always assumed the tie-in was just with the electronics and injection of the early 4.0. Thanks for sharing this!

That’s one regret I have wrt my series on Jeep trucks: I have zero hands-on experience with any of them, and I  don’t actually know much about trucks. I feel like someone who owns one and/or works with pickups regularly could do a much better in-depth analysis than I ever could.

Sadly, my Cherokee has been the neglected 3rd car for the last few years and I’ve probably forgotten more than I remember at this point. Eventually life might slow down to a point where I can give it some love and get it out in the woods again.
