At least you have an elevator!

The luggage cart/elevator combo is great. I carried them down the stairs once and I won’t do that again.

You need a garage next. They usually come with a house, which is nice too.

I like the display case full of cars. I think some day brother would appreciate something like that. He currently has some glass shelves he keeps his on, but with two young boys, there's always a risk of something getting broken.

Guess I’m a bit luckier, my locker is on the same level as my car. So it's just taking them out, swap in my spot then put them back in.

I’m working on drawing that.  H opefully I’ll have a preliminary construction document set by this time next year.

When my sister moved out of her last apartment she stood outside while I dropped trash bags full of clothes on her from 20 feet up. That went as well as you might expect.

Yeah, those cases are original to the building (which, if you can’t tell, is a 1930’s high school)

They make all-season tires with the mountain-and-snowflake 3-peak logo that will be decent in snow if you can only use a single set of tires year-round. The Nokian WRG4 is the most well-known, but there a few others like the Vredestein Quatrac 5. Vredestein was the first company to make such a tire.

The house part is a hassle and significantly over rated.

The 17”  WS6 wheels that just came off were 200TW Falken Azenis RT615K+ Summer tires. The original 16” wheels that went on have BFGoodrich Comp-2 All Seasons.

that’s an interesting winter tire choice!

If you’re going to do separate summer/winter tires, at least get something winter-worthy :p

I mean... we don’t get much for snow or ice, but the all seasons are good in the rain and cold.

That’s my second favorite use for a luggage cart.  My favorite is using one to roll a miata hardtop into a hotel room in Topeka when attending nationals back in the day.

I just invite Jake over for pizza when I need to move my hardtop, lol.

Nice.

We drove to nationals in a miata one year around 2000ish . We towed a resse backpacker trailer with race rubber, jack and all the other stuff for a weekend of auto crossing, so that two people and their luggage could fit in the car. Having the hard top fitted was necessary for maintaining sanity in a miata at highway speeds from Albuquerque to Topeka, but once in town we stashed it in the hotel room until heading back.
