Meh. I’ve become.m numb to electric super car news. It’s not all the complicated to ad more power to an electric car, especially when money isn’t object.
I don’t care about 2 second 0-60 times. But I would like a 400 mile range car that is affordable for the average joe.

$2.5M to buy and $3.5M in maintenance over it’s lifetime.

Difference being the electrics weren’t done by Lotus. Those are more like Alpina BMWs and RUF Porsches.

Imagine having a Saab, execpt it’s all electric and no one wants to work on it.

I would consider a CPO Model 3.

Electric cars are much more reliable than gasoline-powered vehicles because they have exponetially fewer moving parts.

We will invent stationary parts with questionable reliability if necessary!

As a Lotus owner, and someone who has followed the company very closely for a very long time
, I can confidently say that t
here is zero chance of this making it to production.

I remember a couple of years ago when they beuild like 4 really badass concepts and then brought none of them to production.

That instance received the most media but there have been so many other, there was a new Esprit
with a LFA
v8 before those concepts
that was almost done b
ut
cancelled when Bahar decided it wasnt Exotic enough
. They’ve been talking about an Evora roadster forever, just googled E
vora roadster and we have an article from 2015 saying it would be unvelied in about 6 months. The new US compliant Elise was supposed to be here by now. I love the cars
, but they always talk big and then dont have the money to back it up.
