i suspect, were I to posses this item, it would primarily be used to fill a corner of the storage room in the basement after my wife declares it is not an acceptable piece of living room furniture

It’s not really pricey compared to a lot of things you might put on your wall. Those F-4 landing gear door lights are much more extravagant .
