While most of it was interesting and informative, the whole ‘I’m a jolly fellow here is how I make learning funny’, got tiresome quickly.

I’d love some trolleys in London. The hybrid buses are so much better than the diesels but I swear 75% of the time t he engine is running. That said with Crossrail continuing to be a disaster, I don’t see us getting anything new anytime soon.

On the other hand, Sydney dismantled their monorail. Monorail!

I have a feeling this series started out as a pitch for a kids show or something. Because he made two or three of these vids years ago, and then nothing for a long time. And apparently only recently figured out a way to make money off content on youtube, but already had the format from the older vids?
It’s a guess, but I remember seeing this channel forever ago and it hadn’t been updated for a while, plus the old vids had no ads in or on them, so it’d be weird to put as much effort into editing them as is obviously apparent “just for fun”.

I guess we found who he appeals to. :P
I mean, I have nothing against him. His videos are informative and I’ve learned some things I would not have otherwise known. But I guess how he sometimes tries to turn something into a meme annoys me.

I find it interesting how cities grow over time.

like a car the engine may be running at a steady idle with the electic motor taking up the variation in power demands.
