That’s an interesting point. There are some smaller ones near me that would still do some damage, or at best, be very rough on the passengers; I’m not sure an autonomous vehicle would be able to thread through them and avoid the worst spots the way most people do...

That’s definitely unusual, and it’s definitely not on a main drag.  Last time I saw one like that was over 25 years ago.
