oh, that’s good

Haha! I hate it. The silly body cladding because we’re Subaru and we have to be off-roady. And the notion that it might end up looking anything other than identical to the Toyota 86 is an insult!
Curiously this is after the BRZ had already come out, can’t explain that one

The cladding is a bit much, but the overall shape reminds me a lot of BMW’s Z3
clownshoe or
the Volvo C30
, which is a fun lil’ hatch
shape that needs to come back more often than it does.

I cry every time. Why couldn’t they have just given us a hatchback

Maybe they were testing waters for an AWD “Adventure” model. Of course it got cock blocked by the old “we can’t cannibalized Sell’s form our other car” because it would compete with the WRX a little bit

I definitely see the C30 in it, and that’s a cool shape.

I work with a guy who has an orange C30 Polestar manual. It’s a uniform here in the US and I remind him now and then that’s if he wants to sell it I’ll buy it but I think he’s going to hold onto it until the wheels fall off.

It’s good to hear someone loves a car like that. It
wasn’t designed to be a boring nothing car
