Car drives great this evening. Put over 100 miles on it today as I had to go up to Seattle for some w ork stuff. On that note, I just rolled over 6000 miles in two years.

The system of an oppressive monarch does not contain units of freedom.

Shooting for 0°F tonight. Get used to below freezing temps. It’s not like it hasn’t been winter for a few months already. You might as well get used to it cause it’ll be here for another five and a bit.

I joked with one of my friends who’s an astrophysicist from Princeton about using metric on everything. Pisses off both of our wives. His limit was driving in kph on US roads.

I use prime numbers only on the microwave.

Back when I worked in a lab I’d intentionally mix freedom units and archaic o ld-world units of measurement in with the “acceptable” scientific units for one of the scientists, who repeatedly shot flaming things at me in retaliation.

I remember turning in a sheet on water pressure to volume for some type of dental hygiene device   with “ candle power”, “cord -feet” a nd “ hides” that required about 30 different rediculous conversions.

Now that was a fun job

Yeah, I just don’t drive much currently. A tank ago I filled up in August and didn't have to refill until middle of November.  Crazy.

I fill up about 2x a week. My car averages 25-30 mpg depending on where/how it’s driven.

Between the car and the van I put gas in 3x per week usually. I can’t imagine only having to fill up once a month!?!

Yeah, that's how it was when I lived in Texas.  Out here I just don't drive much.  I like it, but miss some parts of driving all the time.
