Kinja'd!!!

Well, my post Gambler prediction of a greatly extended riding season we re sideswiped by a brutally cold and wet fall. Today it finally made it back into the 40's, and was just drizzling, so I seiz ed the opportunity to not watch the Bears lose and finally winterize the scooters.

My winter tires have been on the truck for weeks now, when they usually don’t go on until Thanksgiving. I even decided to replace it’s battery, since i t’s six years old now.

I also took the last few parts I want from the RallyMetro, except for the StupidWing. If I get a chance to take that off (it’s going on my shop wall), I’ll probably haul that to the junkyard this week.

Oh, the snowblower. That friggin thing won't start again. Any Chicagoland Oppos want a cheap blower? I'm sure a carb clean and a spark plugs and will get her going again, but I'm sick of screwing with it. Time to treat myself to a new one.

I’m sure you’re right about the blower - and maybe the plug just needs a cleaning? Might as well get it going.

Smart move on the truck battery (and tires)!

I’m just sick of it. For the last couple years, it has never failed to fail me.

Eh, it’s time then. I thought you had several of them last winter?

I hate screwing around with a snowblower that won’t start - - you’re already out in cold crappy weather, that just adds to the misery.

I had two last year. I gave the giant one to my buddy ... I couldn’t get that one to start when I needed it to either.

Yeah, it’s time. I’m tempted to buy an Ego electric one. I love my Ego mower.I love how quiet it is. I love the lack of fumes and gas and oil. I loved be how light is. Upon digging into the reviewsof the snowblower though, the scraper on those is really fragile. That would be a problem, because my patio and sidewalks are in very bad broken up shape.
