Wrapped all of Mrs. Z’s presents. We typically have a “stocking stuffers only” rule, so I wrapped all of her stocking stuffers. Plus, bought a couple of things that violate the rule. Something something happy wife?

Now I’m working on the tree. WOOOOOO HOLIDAY CHEER AND WHATNOT.

Time to upgrade the Mrs. stocking to be able to include said gifts?  I don’t recommend using a sleeping bag unless your couch is super comfy.

We did the tree today, was actually not terrible- plus letting the kids decorate the tree meant there were no rules.

We also have a $$ limit on husband and wife gifts that I routinely ignore..

I work in retail and Christmas, I c an’t get into it.

Early November, the Christmas songs start working their way into the store radio, people start wearing Christmasy clothing (usually Christmas jumpers) with some wearing hats with bells on telling everyone to be happy, grrr.

I may copy this tree decorating design. We have a cat that has never seen a Christmas tree, and I’m positive he’ll end out in it at some point.

Some of my favorite ornaments may not come out this year so they don’t get broken.

I did my outside lights really early and had my timers set for them to come on at 5PM on black Friday. I’ve never had them up that early but it was actually kind of awesome. I haven’t done anything on the inside, though. I probably won’t get a tree but I have other stuff I should hang. I’m not crazy about xmas but I do like to hang lights haha
