The plastic piece that goes where the drivers side fog light would go keeps coming off and falling into the cavity behind the front fascia. The fascia has never been damaged, but this piece is only held in place by 5 tabs and they don’t seem to hold it well. I’ve checked to make sure the tabs aren’t damaged and they’re not. It just seems to be a sub-par design.
Any advice? I’m thinking if it keeps happening I’ll just put a little JB Weld on each tab and know that I can never add fog lights.

Maybe run a small self-tapping screw through at least one set of tabs to lock it in place?

Wouldnt be able to get a driver anywhere near it without basically pulling the whole fascia or front under tray off unfortunately.

Dang, can’t get to it from behind if you removed the fender liner?
/recently did that with his Miata for fog lights
, RIP two POS fasteners.

I have a 2016 6 Touring without foglights and I’ve yet to have this happen. I’ll keep an eye out for it, though.

Exactly what I have. I first came across it while washing it for the first time after I bought it this August. Went to wash the front and it popped right in with minimal pressure from my hand.
