I love this .

I’m kind of surprised that he was even allowed to try, though . This being America, I would have expected the road to remain closed for ALL traffic, at least until some engineer was called in to declare it safe.

It wouldn’t surprise me to learn that Alaska is a bit more relaxed about these things. People have to be flexible when logistics are perpetually challenging even without earthquakes throwing a wrench into things.
