Not too loud, barely noticeable while cruising. Pretty aggressive under load, but the real aggression comes between shifts.

Would it top 91 decibels @ 50 feet away? (Standard noise limit for autocross)
I’m fixing to straight-pipe my MR2 for weight reduction... it can’t get too loud though.

I wasn’t expecting the first one as I left the shop, because at idle it’s still super quiet, but windows down, it’s an explosion.

So race car .

I don’t know. It has a turbo, two cats, and a resonato r still , so maybe not. No muffler on an NA car will be super loud though.

It’s still super quiet at idle. It doesn’t get loud until over 3.5k.

Mmm yeah my MR2 has an extra cat due to CA compliance, but that’s probably not enough . I think the resonator is embedded in the stock muffler.
Maybe I should find a junkyard turbocharger and just bolt it on as a “muffler”? Like not even hooking it up to anything else, just the exhaust turbine active.

Up north where it rusts, mufflers delete themselves :p

The volume concern is important since we want to get you racing. We can find out the hard way at the first CCR event in the spring . . .

It’s pretty significantly quieter than the Fiesta.

I need to hear this in-person next C&C.
