Did Apple start this nonsense of having someone standing on stage trying to single-handedly brainwash their audience?  Only Jobs could pull that off and even he was pretty nauseating if you didn’t live within Apple’s reality distortion field.

I watched this full thing yesterday and you’re right, gave me a very pretentious apple feel LOL. They are going real hard on emotion, design philosophy and harmony and Kodo and Jinba-Ittai and the typical thick-rimmed glasses, turtleneck and scarf wearing designer speak buzzwords. Just tell me about the vehicle in 10 minutes dammit. I mean, this is not some exotic Supercar that took 10 years to develop like an LFA or something. They won’t even make a Mazda speed for crying out loud:

I watched the Honda Passport reveal as well, and it’s a stark contrast. 10 mins flat-Small intro movie, lots of details simple and straight forward:

Even the lighting is better and not like mood lighting for some artsy commercial

I kind of like the Passport’s styling...

I mean, it’s not ugly. It’s inoffensively paint by numbers Honda. Seems to be a decent vehicle also in terms of performance, space and features. I would buy it over a Subaru if I had the need, but it’s not my type of vehicle at all.
