I spent the day in my company’s Luxembourg office. We rent some space in a nice building that has a parking garage in the basement. Apparently the building’s owner uses it as Ferrari storage. I counted 5 512 tr’s. Hey, if you like something, stock up!

I was told that he drives most of them fairly regularly, but the dust seemed to say otherwise. Granted, it’s winter.

It’s pretty sad that only the Mondial has plates (the plates on the 550/575 are temporary Monaco plates)

I would need to put “DEPRESS CLUTCH BEFORE STARTING” on the dashboard of all of them. Just in case you forgot one time. I don’t think most manuals had clutch/ignition lockouts until the late 90s, if ever.
Starting in 1st gear and forgetting the clutch is a mistake you normally only make once. Just ask me how I almost smashed a 911 Turbo with my MkIII Golf while leaving the service department (back in the days when Porsche and VW were often sold from one dealer).
