I saw a 1949 Jee pster at a rest stop and thought you might like it.

Who wouldn’t?!

That’s a spectacular car. Didn’t really fit with the emerging Jeep ethos (was 2-wheel drive only, wasn’t built to handle rugged terrain at all) but dear heavens was (and is) it beautiful.

That one was at the PA welcome center on I-95 N as you leave Delaware. The back was loaded up with “PA stuff.”

It was gorgeous to the point that I could never imagine it being used offroad.

I’d be thrilled to drive that in a parade or two.

Thanks for sharing that. Gives me warm fuzzies just to see a photo of one.

Ooh, such a good looking one! Always had a soft spot for this body style.

It’s an interesting mixture of swoopy and boxy.

Mind if I use this image in my next post? I’d like to contrast the Jeep Commando against it.
