Oh, man, that takes me back. I had an 88 Fox wagon, and it was even that color. I got it to go to grad school and, as the review says, it was great for going to college. I stuffed the back end full with everything I would need. I put 175k miles on it before donating it to charity and getting a 2001 Golf. I loved that Fox though. It was the first car that was mine (after I paid my dad back for it over a few of years). It was no sports car, but it was peppy and a blast to drive. Damn, I miss it. Thanks for posting this.

I actually saw a fairly clean one of these parked on the street in Chicago Tuesday.

And it wasn’t a pile of rust??

I didn’t see it real well but in casual glance, not too bad. I remember seeing them heavily rusted back in the day though.

Mine had some cancer on it, and I live in Texas .

The Fox’s were always the odd ducks of ice racing during the late 1980's. Popular because they were cheap. Unpopular because the rabbits were quicker even if they really should have been equal.
