My kitchen table is about to become useless.

Nice! I’m jealous. Can’t wait until my son is old enough for the more complex Lego kits.

I’m a nearly 24 year old man, so don’t let thinking that it has to be for your kids stop you!

All of ours are intact for 3 days, then repurposed for all kinds of other random stuff. It’s one of the most complex emotions a dad can feel. They’re destroying a masterpiece, but to learn to build other...far inferior things. Not sure how to feel.

Lol mine is only 2, so he prefers destroying to building mostly.

For sure- but it will be more fun once he’s involved!

I suffer through this myself. I will work with my son on his kits, but he doesn’t work with me on mine.

We’ve gotten those for the last few years. Just got the fire station today.

I tried to put the old ones away assembled but a cat who shall remain nameless knocked the train station off the table at the end of last season. That’ll be fun to figure out.

I’ve managed to keep them mostly intact year to year, but it’s difficult. They take up LOTS of room when they are assembled.
