Norwegian has some stupid cheap flights right now. My wife and I flew from Stewart SWF to Dublin in October for just over $300 each round trip

If I have learned anything in my encounters with business types it’s that employees have no value.

which at minimum wage of $7.25 for 3 days at only 8 hours a day is $174
of course, who only pays for 8 hours when you are sending them on a trip, and what sort of mininum wage employee woudl you trust for this trip? not to mention feeding the employee or some sort of per die m.

Let’s say Richard lives and works in NYC has a position
in the marketing department... so pay around $
100-150k, so lets say $75/hr. Therefore you would have to ad his pay for the trip or about an additional $2,5
00.

Exactly and R
ichard is going to be a mid level marketing type and in NYC so he probably makes a $
100-150k a year.

I’m not sure that factors in. If Richard is a full time employees, and especially if he's a salaried employee, the company would be paying him pretty much equally whether he stays in the office or goes and plays international courier.

I was trying to rush some custom gauges from Singapore, as the the whole project relied in it and the project manager was really thinking if it was worth $ 8k to buy a last minute ticket, and sending someone to pick up the box . I filled out the estimated value at 30k for a 18" by 18" by 24" box , and set off every red flag as customs .
