Post says it was created 4 days ago, but it’s actually been up for quite some time. A solid body, decent paint, 327, 3 speed 56 chevy. for less than 10k
is that a hidden gas cap I see?
I guess the big stri ke against it is the paint doesn’t look original . could have been restored in the 80's, which would makes since becaus e the plate sticker say 1989. but still its a car with really good bones for a decent price.

If that was in central FL it would already be in my garage. A weekend devoted to cleaning that thing up would make it a nice cruiser.

That what I’m saying, this could potentially be a tune up, new fuel lines, and brake lines and some cleaning away from being a decent driver. Not going to win any shows or races but an enjoyable car anyway.

Patina is all the rage now.

Maybe the asking price is too high.
Also of note... if it has a 327 , then it doesn’t have the original engine:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_150#Engines
The 327 didn’t come out until 1962:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_small-block_engine#327
That’s not necessarily bad... but I do have to say the wiring in the engine bay looks like it needs to be redone.
This car definitely needs work... even to just be a ‘driver’.
And for the amount of money it will likely need, it might make more sense to spend more on an example that is reasonably well sorted and in better and original condition:

Idk conspared to those this one seems just right price wise. The driver is twice as much, the others are 4 doors, and the last one needs a lot more work, Altho it is original but also twice the price

Yeah but what I’m saying is that I suspect to get this one fully running, moving, turning and stopping properly
, you can easily be out $10,000 or more.
And after spending that, you’ll still have a car with a non-original engine.
And on top of that, it’s a low end 150 economy
model, not a higher end 210 or Belair.

A weekend tune up with all the fluids and rubber lines replaced with one heck of a detail job would make it really nice. The paint looks like it could buff out and the chrome wouldn’t be too hard to make bright again.
