I’m sure it will hop up toward the end, but now is definitely the time to buy particularly on BaT. Around late September I started seeing a lot of “reserve not met” cars, and a lot of “no reserve” cars selling way under what they normally would. A nice orange 2002 went for $8500, after that I decided that it was time to make a move if I saw something good.

I mean, technically the M540i wasn’t sold in the U.S., but the 540i with the same engine was, so all you have to do to federalize it is change the speedo and odometer. But not everyone knows that.

Ha, you think that is bad? You havent seen shit until you have a frame where you can take your finger and poke through it . But thats the Rust Belt though.
And where I am from is clean. Suspension and brake parts can be replaced and the surface rust can be repaired. Some bolts might be tough to get at but some Seafoam Deep-creep will get it.
