Patsy has been sold, this week she’ll be off to someone else’s care.
So ends 12 years of ownership of a pretty awesome car.
Bucket seats,
3.0 V6 5 speed with 40-60% rear wheel biased AWD and sports suspension. Ended up sitting for too long and needs mostly cosmetic work (and the usual wear items) that I just don’t have time for.
Feels bad man :(

I donated mine to a Lemons team for a proper Viking Funereal, there was just too much wrong with it for someone to buy it, 215,000 miles, power windows stopped working, AC was out, needed breaks, tires and other wear items. Seemed like a good idea, plus the hassle of selling a Manual Transmission car wasn’t worth
it.

Mine just needed new bushings, break bleed, hood
hydraulic
arm replacement,
headliner replacement with A and C pillars, fix a leak in the AC line and an oil leak on the tappet cover. Not much but when you add in various old house stuff that needs fixing, a Disco with an engine that needs installing and a Series IIa that is in need of a full resto, I just didn’t have the time :(. Still fucking love that car though.

Mine had the oil leak as well, plus the airbag light was on bad clock spring, would only pass emissions when dumping a bottle of guarantee pass in the tank, oh yeah the radiator was crac
ked as well. Bars leak helped

Heh, replaced the radiator 2 years ago when I was still driving it everyday.

Oooh, a Mondeo in fancy dress!
I still see them occasionally. Sometimes even manual
, diesel (they’re nearly all diesel here, mind) wagons.

The V6 is really a lot of fun, and throaty at a time
when V6's weren’t at all unless they had aftermarket stuff bolted on.

You couldn’t (literally) give one away here.
