I worked at a camp in college that had that, two weeks in a row. . We had teams walking through the woods with sprayers, bleaching everything that someone might touch, including tree trunks and rocks. . State health department came very close to closing us down for the season, but we narrowly got through it. A 3rd outbreak, and that would have been it.

yep. if someone with it pukes anywhere near you, count on being sick with it within a few hours. and nothing says “hi, I’m norovirus” like firing violently out both ends.
