My wonderful 2013 Polaris 800 RMK Pro
We have snow in November for the first time in quite a while. I just have the itch to go snowmobiling so bad. I’m looking at Cooke City, MT web cams and dreaming of going out there this year. Unfortunately with two kids in daycare I can’t afford to go this year. Boo.

We have just under enough to open the slopes. It’s driving me nuts. Also our outdoor ice rink opened yesterday but my new skates are on a FedEx truck somewhere. Agggggh. If I didn’t have kids I would just go back to bed til Monday.

That’s a super fun area! I was out there last year for some spring snowboarding right as all the snow was melting. Did a bunch of exploring along bear tooth highway and then camped for 3 nights below Henderson mountain

Yeah skis. Never really got the hang of snowboarding. Of co ur se after living in south TX for 10 years and only going a couple times I may find that I cant really do it anymore. Also I’m totally going to be guy with the retro gear I used to make fun of from the lift now.

Nice. I never got into the going sideways thing either. I’m all for retro gear, as my skis are from the first generation of parabolic skis in the early 00's. I learned to ski on old school straight skis in the 90's , and actually skied on an 80's set up until 2007 ish. In retrospect (pun not intended), it probably made me a better skier faster. They drew attention in the lift line, but it was always positive. The old timer ski bums respect anyone still skiing on straight skis. You’ve got so many good options for skiing close to you.

Agh my skates came a day early today but they were both left boots! Now I’ve gotta wait for a replacement.

Oh man, that’s unfortunate.
