I can't imagine there's many of those over there. I'd love to know how it got there.

Shit, they were officially sold in Europe.

(Granted, as I understand, it was usually a VM Motori 2.5 liter diesel, but hey.)

True, but this is a grey market import. Clearly identified by the USDM taillights which lack the mandatory a mber indicators.

Comfygasm is right - my dad used to have one of the originals, short wheelbase.

Those captains chairs were comfortable as hell for long rides.  This one looks to have even nicer chairs than his did.

As it’s 25 years old you can get classic car insurance for that car. Even if it’s your only car. Probably €6 a month or so. Not meant for cars you use for commuting though. Check https://www.unive.nl/oldtimerverzekering

Side Bar: The summer of ‘97 I was working on a road crew building a highway. They contractor put down a tack coating prior to paving the next Monday. Tack coat is a heavy petroleum oil, very icky stuff. It rained that weekend and every car that drove on that road got covered in this heavy shitty oil. One of those cars was a grand caravan with the faux wood paneling sides. The only way to remove the sticky oil is to wipe it down with diesel fuel soaked rags, then remove the diesel fuel with a degreaser. I’m pretty sure the tack coat oil ruined that shitty caravan.

We had a ‘91 when I was a kid, FWD. Radio quit working which sucked, but it was fairly reliable until the tie rod went out and it cost more to fix than it was worth. Dad says it was a tank in the snow, never got stuck once it got rolling.

When we leased an ‘04 F-150, it came down to get rid of the Bronco or the van. I still say Dad made the wrong choice.

It’s breaking my head to see that with European plates.

Sorry it’s a star trek reference.

Star Trek: Voyager is a science fiction television series set in the Star Trek universe that debuted in 1995 [3] and ended its original run in 2001.

The series takes place during the years 2371 to 2378. It follows the adventures of the Starfleet vessel USS Voyager , which becomes stranded in the Delta Quadrant (on the far side of the Milky Way galaxy, 70,000 light-years from Earth) while searching for a renegade Maquis ship. [4] Voyager has to make the estimated 75-year journey home.
