The engine bay is very efficiently packed. However that means that getting to the plugs requires some disassembly. Had to remove the intake ducting, throttle bodies, and the vent tube to get to the coils.
I could have gone with the original Denso plugs but I decided to get the NGK Laser Iridium plugs.
Also changed the PCV valve because why not.

Nice, I recently did my car too, was also about a 2hr job, mostly because I really took my time. Now that I’ve done it once, I imagine it’ll go quicker.

I used the same plugs on my Mazda but the change out took about 30 minutes with the plugs being right there on top of the head.

Nicely done! I’ve owned two cars with transverse V6 engines and replacing the plugs on the two couldn’t have been more different. On my old Probe it was a snap. Nothing had to be removed, just pop off the spark plug wire and take it out. On my Mariner changing the back plugs involves removing the upper half of the intake manifold. One was a 15 minute job the other was, like yours, at least a 2 hour job.

Nice! I just put those laser bois in my Audi. Took a couple days for them to break in but I’ve noticed smoother running and better cold starts as well as much better throttle response. My old plugs had about 50k on them so anything would have been better.

That sounds quite straightforward.
My car has two plugs per cylinder They’re laid out in two rows. Changing the top row is easy enough, you just reach in.
Changing the lower row means taking most of the back of the car off.

Granted the old plugs were pretty worn down, but the new plugs already feel like an improvement.

I watched a couple of videos (including one where the guy called his throttle body a tube holder) and it still took me two hours. Wasn't exactly taking my time, it just takes that long lol.

The Accord was pretty straight forward even for a transverse V6 engine. It was just a squeeze getting to those rear plugs. This thing was a whole different beast.

gotcha, I suppose it’s all about what all is in the way of your job (hoses, cables, piping, brackets, etc). I was surprised in my case with it being a twin-turbo, that there wasn’t much in my way.
